Role Overview
As an SEO & Content Strategist, you will plan and execute organic growth initiatives that improve visibility, traffic quality, and conversions. You’ll own content strategy aligned with search intent, collaborate with writers/designers, and partner with analysts to ensure performance-driven optimisation
Key Responsibilities
- SEO Strategy: build and maintain SEO plans (technical priorities + content roadmap) aligned with business goals
- Content Planning: develop topic clusters, briefs, and editorial calendars based on search intent and opportunities
- On-Page Optimisation: optimise landing pages and articles (structure, metadata, internal linking) to improve rankings and CTR
- Content Quality: ensure content is clear, user-focused, and aligned with brand tone and conversion goals
- Research: conduct keyword research and competitor analysis to identify gaps and growth opportunities
- Collaboration: work closely with design, marketing, and development teams to implement SEO and content initiatives
- Performance Tracking: monitor results and report on core KPIs (traffic, rankings, engagement, conversions)
- Continuous Improvement: test new content formats, improve existing pages, and refine strategy based on data
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Education: bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field
- Experience: 3+ years in SEO/content strategy (agency experience is a plus)
- SEO Expertise: strong understanding of on-page SEO, search intent, and content planning frameworks
- Tools: hands-on experience with analytics and SEO tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush/Ahrefs)
- Writing & Editing: ability to create high-quality briefs and edit content for clarity, structure, and performance
- Analytical Mindset: comfortable interpreting performance data and turning insights into actions
- Communication: strong collaboration skills and ability to explain recommendations clearly
Preferred Skills
- Experience working with international markets and multilingual SEO
- Basic understanding of technical SEO (Core Web Vitals, crawling/indexing basics)
- Experience supporting content distribution (email/social) to amplify organic performance
- Familiarity with CRO principles for content-led conversion paths
